Michelle completed her LLB degree and were admitted as an attorney in 2006. In 2007 she completed her conveyancing and notarial exams and were admitted as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public.
She however started her practical law experience in 2004 at the Free State Rural Development Association and Rural Legal Trust. She articled at Azaar & Havenga and Vermaak & Dennis and practiced as conveyancer, attended to Magistrate's Court litigation matters, administration of estates, third party claims, cost accounting and CCMA litigation.
In 2007 Michelle worked at Israel, Sackstein & Matsepes as a professional assistant in the collections department before joining the team at Du Plessis - Viviers in May 2007 where she is responsible for all aspects of conveyancing, drafting of contracts, drafting and implementing company policies, drafting internal rules in line with FIC Act and providing staff with training. Michelle also works closely with Deeds Offices and Municipalities across South Africa. Furthermore she also were Treasurer of the Kalahari Law Society from 2009 - 2010 and Chairman of the Commercial and Labour Law Committee from 2009 to 2014.
